Copyright and Acceptable Use
Last updated: 14 October 2026
Safe Video Downloads is designed for authorised offline use. The Alpha 1 Company respects creators’ rights and does not grant permission to copy or redistribute someone else’s work.
Public availability is not a licence
A video being visible online does not make it free of copyright. A share button generally shares a link; it does not necessarily authorise a separate copy, editing, commercial use, or reposting. Check the licence and obtain the rights holder’s permission where required.
Appropriate uses may include saving your own original video, keeping an authorised copy supplied by a creator, or downloading material under a licence that expressly permits it. If music, footage, or images within a video belong to others, the creator’s permission alone may not cover every right involved.
Access restrictions
Do not use the tool to bypass DRM, subscriptions, private-account controls, or other access protections. We do not offer methods for accessing private accounts or ask visitors to submit passwords or browser session files. A failed request is not a reason to evade the source platform’s restrictions.
Report a concern
Email support@alpha1.ng with the subject “Copyright report”. To help us identify and review the issue, include:
- Your name and contact email, and whether you are the rights holder or an authorised representative.
- A description of the original work and a link or other information identifying it.
- The source video URL and any Safe Video Downloads job or temporary file link involved.
- An explanation of why you believe the requested use is unauthorised.
- A statement that the information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to report the concern.
Provide enough detail to identify the material. Do not send passwords, private account cookies, or unrelated identity documents.
What happens next
We review reports and may ask for clarification or evidence of authority. Where appropriate, we can remove a temporary file that remains on our service or restrict access to the service. Temporary links may already have expired by the time a report arrives.
We do not control the original platform’s copy or a copy already saved to someone’s device. For removal from the source platform, use that platform’s reporting process as well. A report does not automatically establish infringement, and incomplete or disputed reports may require further review.
Our Terms of Use prohibit rights violations and abuse. Contact the same address for privacy, impersonation, or other rights concerns, clearly describing the issue.
