Format JavaScript without executing code
The formatter uses Prettier to produce consistent indentation and spacing. The minifier removes comments and unnecessary whitespace without renaming identifiers or enabling compression rewrites. All parsing happens locally in a worker; the submitted code is never evaluated.
Limits and supported inputs
Use up to 500,000 characters. Formatting supports JavaScript and JSX; minification expects JavaScript, so transpile JSX or TypeScript first. Source maps are not generated. Keep licence comments where required before publishing minified code.
Keep a copy of your original input and review the result before sharing it. Clearing the tool or leaving the page releases its working data; downloaded files remain on your device.
